Morgan County Sheriff

What brought you to Morgan County, or what keeps you staying?  I love this community!  I have been fortunate of having the opportunity to grow up here and raise a family.  When I started my career in Law Enforcement, my goal was to work in Morgan County in hopes of keeping Morgan the great place it is.  My goal came to fruition and I have been working in Morgan County for the past thirteen years and have loved it.

Morgan is unique.  I understand this uniqueness as well as the challenges citizens are faced with.  I have had the opportunity to work with the youth.  We have an incredible youth with ones we can be proud of.  The sheriff’s office should strive to continue to have an active role in assisting with the education of our fine youth.  I will dedicate myself to ensuring the School Resource Officer, as well as the D.A.R.E. positions remain in our schools.

Morgan is a tight knit community where residents willingly go out of their way to help one another.  In order for this trend to continue, the sheriff’s office must not only work for this community, but become a part of this community.  I promise to make that happen."
